Fried Cheese Sticks (Pho mai que)

(Phô Mai Que) - Fried Cheese Sticks. This dish now becomes one of most popular Vietnamese Dessert Recipes in my country, especially in Saigon.
Phô Mai Que - Fried Cheese Sticks
If you cannot go out to buy this delicious dish, you also can make at home by my recipe. It is really suitable when you have a party at your house.

Ingredients

- Mozzarella Cheese: 200gr
- 3 yolks
- ½ bowl flour (with proportion 1 wheat flour : ½ tapioca flour)
- ½ bowl bread crumb flour (Bột Chiên Xù)
- Some oregano leaves to create flavor
- Pepper, salt, and chili sauce.

Process

- Cut Mozzarella cheese into long and thin pieces.

- Pour wheat and tapioca flour into plate, roll each cheese through this flour. Make sure this flour can cover all face of cheese. Roll gently to make sure they are not broken.

- Stir well yolks and continue to roll cheese in this mixture.

- Pour bread crumb flour into plate; add more salt, pepper and oregano leaves. Mix well. Once again, roll cheese sticks through this flour.

- Arrange these cheese sticks on plate and put in fridge in 3 hours. After 3 hours, repeat the process from step 2 to step 4. Wait in 15 minute and bring to fry.

- Heat the oil (make sure oil can cover all cheese sticks). Drop gently one by one cheese stick into pan and fry until they turn brown yellow color.

- After fry, put on plate added paper napkin to absorb wasted oil. Using Fried Cheese Sticks with chili sauce.
